Temporary Greens

During the renovation we have been playing on these very fast, temporary, bent grass greens.
Even though our course has been shortened by the construction, these greens have provided a real challenge to our golfers. These greens measure 11 on the stempmeter which is PGA fast!

New Greens

These pictures are going to be a work in progress. Photos will be added after the green's outline is defined and the bunkers are placed. After the construction is finished and sod is applied, I'll provide panoramic views of the complex. You will be able to follow the progress with weekly updates. New greens were seeded March 28th.

There will be seven new fairway bunkers and redesign of the existing three. The tees on 8, 10, 14 and 15 are being moved to align with their fairways. The practice bunker and chipping area is being moved from behind the cart barn. All fairway bunkers and new tees are open for play.

Golf Course RenovationAt the end of November 2009, Stockdale began the Golf Course Renovation Project by constructing high quality temporary greens to be used while all of the greens, bunkers and some tees were renovated. In September 2010 play was moved to the temporary greens and the construction on began on our course. This photo album will keep you updated on the weekly progress of the project. This is a private member's site, not funded by or affiliated with Stockdale Country Club.
